Connect a Repo
Link your GitHub repository to a FinishKit project.
Once the GitHub App is installed, you connect a specific repo to a FinishKit project.
Step 1: Select your repo
In the New Project flow, you'll see a list of repos FinishKit has access to. Select the one you want to scan.
If you don't see your repo, click Sync repositories or check that the repo is included in your GitHub App installation.
Step 2: Choose a branch
Select the branch you want to scan. This is usually main or master.
Step 3: Set your launch goal
Write one sentence describing what you're trying to ship. Example:
"A SaaS app where users can upload CSVs and generate charts. Launching to first paying customers next week."
This helps FinishKit prioritise findings that matter most for your specific goal.
Step 4: Create the project
Click Create Project. FinishKit creates the project record and you're ready to run your first scan.
